David Gallardo

David Gallardo has a diverse work experience in product design and leadership roles. David is currently working as a Staff Product Designer at Preply, leading the Learning & AI experience. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Product Designer at Hotjar, where they led and collaborated with Product & Engineering Directors on important projects to enhance the platform's information architecture and user experience. David also managed and mentored a team of 10 designers. Before Hotjar, David worked as a Product Design Lead at Zazume, contributing to the design of a real-estate platform aimed at revolutionizing property management. David also served as a Product Design Lead at TravelPerk, where they focused on implementing consumer-grade experiences in the B2B sector and scaling a design team. Additionally, David worked as a Design Teacher at NEOLAND and Ironhack. David gained valuable experience as a Senior Product Designer at Metropolis:Lab, leading the design of multiple products and services related to urban mobility. Before that, they traveled the world while doing freelance jobs and co-founded a blog. David's early work experience includes serving as a UI/UX Team Lead at LOLA MullenLowe, where they worked on redesigning the digital ecosystem of SEAT, and as a Product Designer at Malcom, where they designed a SaaS analytics tool.

David Gallardo attended Escola Massana from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
