Peter Loboda

Peter Loboda has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Peter is currently working at Preply as the Engineering Director since May 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Engineering Manager at Preply from May 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Preply, Peter worked at DreamTeam from August 2017 to April 2020 as the Head of Engineering. During their tenure, they built a highly-efficient and scalable engineering team of more than 60 people and developed a complex and technologically advanced product for the global market.

Peter also worked at Ciklum from May 2016 to August 2017, initially as the Head of Unit, and later as a Senior Project Manager/Delivery Manager. Peter successfully managed a unit of 8 project managers, handled multiple projects, and contributed to the development of the Project Management Office (PMO) and Enterprise Unit.

Prior to Ciklum, they worked at Zoral as a Project Manager and Business Analysis Team Lead from July 2011 to December 2013. Before that, they held the position of Head of Business Analysis Department and Business Analyst at Ukrainian Radiosystems (TM Beeline) from June 2008 to July 2011.

Peter began their career as a Software Engineer at UnitechBT in 2006 and later worked at PROTEK PHARMACEUTICALS PRIVATE LIMITED as a Software Engineer, where they developed logistics software and web applications.

Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and technical skills, working with diverse technologies such as iOS/Android Native, C#, Java, PHP, Angular, Ember.js, Selenium, and more.

Peter Loboda has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' earned between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university between 1999 and 2005. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained various certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2016, Scaled Agile Framework: Program Consultant (SPC) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015, and ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile in 2014.
