Laura D.

Laura D. has seven years of work experience. Laura began their career in 2011 as an Associate Editor at the United Methodist Publishing House. Laura then worked as a Freelance Copywriter for various companies until 2016, when they started working as a Content Writer for PrepScholar. In 2015, they also worked as an Instructor for Summa Education. In 2013, they began working at the University of California San Diego, where they held the roles of Fletcher Jones Fellow, Managing Editor of Theatre Forum, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2020, they began working as a User Experience Writer for KeyBank. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Copywriter for Yellow Door Studio.

Laura D. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Theatre/Writing from Barnard College in 2011. Laura then went on to earn their Master's Degree in MFA Creative Writing from Antioch University-Los Angeles in 2017. Lastly, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Performance Studies, Feminist Studies, and Crip Theory from UC San Diego in 2017.
