Gabi Steele

Gabi Steele has a rich and varied work experience. In 2022, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Preql. In 2020, they became Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of Data Culture, a data engineering and visualization consultancy. In 2017, they were an Adjunct Lecturer at Parsons School of Design - The New School, Head of Data Visualization Engineering and Senior Data Visualization Engineer at WeWork, and Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in the City of New York. In 2017, they also Co-Founded Raw Haus, a creative community connecting emerging talent across the art, design, technology, and entrepreneurial spaces. In 2016, they were a Data Visualization Specialist at The Washington Post, and in 2015, they were a Designer in Residence at XRC Labs.

Gabi Steele received an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Graphic Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design - The New School, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with Honors Studio Specialization & Professional Writing and Communication from Western University.
