Daniel "Ben" Bailey, PhD, currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Public Health Studies at Presbyterian College since July 2018, also holding positions such as Co-Director of the Service Entrepreneurship Program and Interim Department Chair. With a focus on public administration and policy, courses taught include Environmental Politics and Policy, Public Health Policy, and State and Local Politics. Research interests concentrate on local sustainability policy and its connection to public health. In addition, Daniel Bailey operates a 5th-generation cow-calf ranch alongside family members since August 2023 and has previously taught as an adjunct professor at institutions including Oklahoma City Community College and Texas Tech University. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Political Science from Texas Tech University, a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Northeastern Illinois University, and additional degrees in Public Administration and German Language and Literature.
