Jerrod B. has worked in a variety of roles, beginning with a Forklift Operator at GENCO, A FedEx Company in 2013. Jerrod then worked as an Inventory Control at BMW Group in 2013, and an Assistant Manager at Strongbox Self Storage in 2011. In 2014, they were a Quality Assurance Specialist at Great Dane. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as an AVD Application Security (Remote) at Ticketmaster, Help Desk Analyst, Tier 2 at MIMO Cash Handling Solutions in 2019, and SOC at Dell Technologies in 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Network Engineer at A-to-Be, and is currently a Team Lead Security Consultant at Prescient Security since 2022.

Jerrod B. is currently enrolled in Joliet Junior College, where they are pursuing a Cisco Certified Network Associate degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. Prior to this, Jerrod attended Full Sail University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Major degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Jerrod then attended Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Certified Pharmacy Technician degree in Pharmacy. Jerrod's educational history began in 2005 when they graduated from Oswego East High School with a Diploma in Security+, Entertainment Law & Copyright. Jerrod has also obtained several certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) from Cisco in 2021, PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) from Cybrary in 2017, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2017, Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) from CompTIA in 2017, CompTIA Network+ from Cybrary in 2017, End User Security Awareness from Cybrary in 2017, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2017, and Pharmacy Technician from HIPAA Training.
