Ram Deshpande

Ram Deshpande has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ram started their career as a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Tata Motors in 1994. Ram then worked as a Software Engineer at Computervision, where they contributed to critical projects in the area of Sheet Metal Design. Ram also worked on a significant project for Boeing. In 1999, Ram joined SDRC as a Software Engineer Advanced and later moved on to UGS as a Software Engineering Manager. In this role, they led a multi-site team in developing a feature translator product that ensured business continuity for key customers. Ram also transformed an inexperienced team into a self-reliant and capable one. Ram joined Prescient Technologies in 2008 as the VP of Sales and Marketing, where they assist Engineering R&Ds in solving complex problems by offering software solutions. Recently, in 2020, they took on the same position at iNetra. Overall, Ram has showcased their skills in various fields such as CAD, Mathematics, AI/ML, Image Processing, and Data Analytics and has excelled in project management and team leadership.

Ram Deshpande has a diverse educational background in the field of engineering and management. Ram completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (ME) in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1995 to 1997. To further enhance their managerial skills, Ram enrolled in the Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPX) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for the academic year 2007 to 2008.
