Founded in 1983, Preservation Company is a woman-owned small business providing a wide variety of historic preservation-related services with a highly qualified team of architectural historians on staff. Though most projects are located in New Hampshire, Preservation Company has also worked in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. We offer services in historic documentation, building assessments, National and State Register nominations, historic resource surveys, mitigation projects, and assistance with Federal Historic Preservation Tax Credit applications. We frequently work with NHDOT and NHDES for federally or state-funded or licensed projects to ensure our clients meet the requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966.
