We provide temporary and interim Chief Data Officer leadership to early and mid-stage technology and data centric companies to establish a data strategy, an enterprise data architecture, a data governance program, or deliver on a specific business outcome.

Data Strategy
Data and analytics are central to revenue generation, managing costs, decision making, process optimization, competitive differentiation, customer understanding and engagement, product development, automation, and risk mitigation. Data is powering new business models and AI is becoming pervasive to every industry and this is only getting more complex as AI and real time decision making becoming central to every organization and every role.

Enterprise Data Architecture
Organizations establish data and technology silos for good reasons - business unit or team independence and agility, use of SaaS platforms, and M&A activity are a few examples creating data silos. The challenge is data silos are the mortal enemy of effective enterprise data analysis efforts. Often these silos are accompanied by multiple data lakes, data marts, data warehouses, analytic platforms, machine learning platforms, dozens or hundreds of constantly evolving transactional data sources, and a proliferation of spreadsheets, each with their own semantics, data models, technologies, vendors, and integration approaches.

Data Governance
If yours is like most companies you have informal, fragmented, unmanaged, undocumented, and unstructured governance activities, and lack the expertise to establish a program with a recognized framework. Establishing an effective data governance program is challenging, and the longer you delay the more challenging, costly, and risky it is to establish one.
