Daniel Ferrell

Daniel Ferrell is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security governance and consulting. Currently serving as a Principal Security Governance Consultant at Presidio since January 2020, Daniel provides virtual Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) services for various clients across multiple sectors, overseeing compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, and HIPAA. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and Cybersecurity Engineer at Sera-Brynn, managing security assessments and serving as fractional CISO for diverse clients. Daniel's earlier career includes serving as an IT Security and Network Analyst at Paul D. Camp Community College and as a Node Site Coordinator and Network Technician in the US Army, with a strong focus on network systems and security. Daniel holds a Master of Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, both from the University of Phoenix.
