Michael Brown is a seasoned cybersecurity executive currently serving as the Field Chief Information Security Officer at Presidio, where expertise focuses on advising companies on digital transformation, cybersecurity regulations, GRC, and cloud security. Previously, Michael held the role of Advisory Chief Information Security Officer at Fortinet, specializing in digital transformation for financial services. Michael's extensive experience includes serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for BNY Mellon's Markets Division and the Chief Information Officer at Nomura, overseeing capital markets technology and large-scale transformation programs. Additionally, Michael has held various technology leadership positions at firms such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, Crédit Agricole CIB, and Bear Stearns, as well as earlier roles at NYFIX, IBM, and the US Navy. Michael holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from the University of Connecticut.
