Mark Richards has held various roles throughout their career. Mark currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Presien, an AI vision company focused on solving heavy industry challenges. Mark is also the Chief Product Officer at Presien. Prior to Presien, Mark worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Main Sequence Ventures, where they invested in and supported early-stage technology companies. Mark also served as a Private Investor at Ripe Robotics. Before their venture capital and investing roles, Mark was the Co-owner of Black Sheep Lodge, a burger bar in South Austin. Mark also founded LugIron Software, a company that developed software and services for social marketing optimization. In addition, Mark has experience as a General Partner at Accede Capital and Technology Venture Partners, where they focused on investment opportunities. Mark also founded Metreos, a company specializing in IP telephony development, which was later acquired by Cisco. Mark began their career at Tivoli, where they held the position of Director of Database Products.
Mark Richards attended Kingston University from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science.
