Stuart Eiffert

Stuart Eiffert is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in AI and robotics within heavy industries. Currently serving as the Lead AI Engineer at Presien since April 2020, Stuart specializes in developing computer-vision and machine-learning-based safety systems. Prior roles include Senior AI Engineer and AI Engineer at Presien, and Robotics Engineer at Laing O'Rourke from January 2015 to April 2020, focusing on computer vision research and applications. Stuart's early career included roles as an Undergraduate Engineer at Thales Australia, where vehicle simulation development occurred, and as an Engineering Intern at CNF & Associates, working on control systems for industrial applications. Stuart holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
