Johannes Burk has held various roles in media, communication, and journalism throughout their career. Johannes started as a Personal Trainee in the Sports Association Hessen and later became a Freelance Journalist in the Sports Department of the Frankfurter Rundschau. Johannes then transitioned to a Web Editor, Sales & Social Media Assistant at ABCOFILMCORP before joining the German Federal Parliament as a Trainee. Johannes then moved on to PRIME Research, where they worked as a Junior News manager and later as a News Manager, specializing in media monitoring and analysis. Johannes later joined Cision Canada, first as a Senior Manager News and then as an Account Executive. Most recently, they have been working at PressReader and FIBEP in roles related to content and media solutions.
Johannes Burk obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Media Management from the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden in the years 2010-2013. Johannes also completed a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery and International Business at Harvard Business School in 2021. Additionally, they pursued studies in Business and Politics at Hawaii Pacific University in 2009 and attended Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz from 2007-2009. Johannes also received certifications in Investment Funds, Social Marketing, and Google Analytics in 2017. Johannes completed their secondary education at Adolf-Reichwein-Gymnasium in Heusenstamm.
