Joyceanne Sim is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in military and defense sectors, currently serving as a Lead Engineer at the Engineering Development Lab (EDL) for Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) since October 2015. Previous roles include Backend Processing Radar Engineer for SPY-6 AMDR and Test Engineer for the Mine Countermeasures Mission Package weapon system. In addition, Joyceanne is a Fashion Model with achievements including being a ModelHunt International Finalist and runway appearances at New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks. Early career experience includes roles at Kellstrom Defense as a Program Lead and Design Engineer, Aerojet Rocketdyne as an Engineer, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Experimental Mechanics Lab. Joyceanne holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Ventura College.
