With experience in various managerial roles in software development and quality assurance at companies such as Esystems and Tron Technologies, Yira has a strong background in technology. Prior to this, Yira worked as a Technology Transfer Consultant at the UN World Food Programme and as the Directora de Sistemas at Gob FIS. Yira also has experience as a Technology Consultant at Darien Info Systems and as a Gerente de Soporte tecnico at GEOINFO, specializing in GIS technology. Yira holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnologia.
