Ryan Hafen

Ryan Hafen is an independent consultant and remote adjunct assistant professor at Purdue University, focusing on exploratory analysis, visualization, statistical model building, and machine learning with large, complex datasets. They have served as a Chief Technology Officer at Telperian Inc since 2021, and as a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Preva Group since 2018. Prior to these roles, Ryan developed web applications and customized quality assurance software for various companies, and they conducted significant research as a Statistical Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Ryan earned a PhD in Statistics from Purdue University, along with an MStat from the University of Utah and a BS from Utah State University.
