Chris Delaney

Chris Delaney has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and IT. Chris started their career in 2005 as a Founding Member and Director of Operations at Server North Inc., an ISP. In this role, they played a vital role in the start-up phase and implemented procedures for registering the Ontario corporation.

In 2009, they joined Creatrix Design Group as a Web Developer and Lead IT Administrator. Chris was responsible for reviewing client proposals, creating technical feasibility studies, and developing detailed proposals and timelines for large-scale projects. Chris worked closely with international government organizations.

In 2012, Chris joined BIONIQ as a Lead Web Developer specializing in eCommerce. Chris developed websites for various clients, including financial institutions and commercial real estate services, using the Magento eCommerce platform. Chris also worked with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.

In 2017, they joined Gilmore Global as a Web & API Developer. Chris followed Laravel methodology and programming standards to develop websites and create an API eCommerce platform. Chris also played a critical role in planning and designing a RESTful API using the JSON API Specification.

Currently, Chris is working at Prevalent - Third-Party Risk Management as a Senior Developer & Integration Team Leader. Chris is involved in SaaS platform development using the Laravel framework. Chris played a vital role in designing and implementing Prevalent's new RESTful API and converting the platform front-end to Angular and TypeScript.

Chris Delaney attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2000 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering Technology with a focus on Computer Science.
