Ilya Labutin

Ilya Labutin began their work experience in 2005 as a Software Engineer intern at Intel Corporation. Ilya then joined GrapeCity in 2007 as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2011. At GrapeCity, they transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, Labutin joined Nitka as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2016. At Nitka, they gained experience in leading technical teams. In 2016, they moved to Prevalent Inc. where they currently hold the position of Technical Lead and Engineering Manager.

Ilya Labutin has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and physics. Ilya holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, both from Novosibirsk State University (NSU). Their specialization during these degrees was in Computer Science and Physics.

In addition to their degrees, Ilya is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics. Their field of study focuses on numerical methods and high-performance computing on GPUs.

Aside from their formal education, Ilya has also obtained several certifications. Ilya has completed courses in "Algorithms on Graphs" and "Algorithmic Toolbox" from Coursera, both obtained in 2020. Ilya also obtained a certification in "Mathematics and Python for Data Analysis" from Coursera in November 2016.
