Vahid Maleki is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in HVDC projects. Currently serving as a Technical Design Lead and Senior Electrical Engineer at Hitachi Energy since June 2022, Vahid specializes in designing auxiliary power systems for HVDC converter stations. Prior to this role, Vahid was a Senior Electrical Designer at Prevas AB, and from October 2017 to September 2021, served as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer and Project Coordinator at FSTCO. Earlier experience includes a role as a Power System Engineer at Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers, where Vahid provided consultancy for various power plants and electrical network studies. Vahid also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Islamic Azad University from May 2010 to August 2013. Vahid holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Shahed University.
