Dan Roberts is the Founding Director of MD Support and the International Low Vision Support Group, known for their work as an author, educator, and patient advocate in the realm of low vision care. Dan's career includes service as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a teacher with the Grandview Consolidated School District. Since 1995, Dan has led MD Support, a public institution aiding those affected by age-related macular degeneration, while contributing as Editor in Chief for Prevent Blindness since 2013. Dan holds multiple degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, including a Master’s in Higher Education, and has operated the Academy of Performing Arts for several years.
