Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW), proudly based in St. Augustine, Florida, is a family-run, nationwide education organization dedicated to improving the mental and physical wellness of individuals and communities. We provide brief, evidence-based programs for youth, young adults, and adults, along with parent training and multimedia campaigns that promote healthier lifestyles.

Our “whole-health” approach addresses multiple co-occurring health risks within a single intervention. PPW programs focus on preventing alcohol, marijuana, e-cigarette, opioid, and fentanyl use, while also promoting physical activity, proper nutrition, healthy sleep habits, and stress management.

Our one-session Screening and Brief Interventions (SBIs), including Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), offer an effective and efficient solution for schools, organizations, clinics, and communities. Designed to fit into busy schedules, these programs motivate participants to build healthy habits and develop a positive identity through guided goal setting and progress tracking.

Each PPW program includes easy-to-follow, scripted manuals that can be delivered one-on-one or in group settings. Built-in evaluation tools, including online and paper pretests, posttests, and instructor surveys, allow organizations to measure program fidelity and effectiveness. In addition, self-paced online training courses make it easy for practitioners to learn and implement PPW programs on their own schedule.
