Jaime Ramirez has been working in the IT industry since 1984. Jaime began their career as a Computer Operations Manager at Banco Mercantil del Peru. In 1989, they moved to Mercantil Bank, where they held the position of IT Operations Manager. In 1992, they worked as the IT Director at Fedco Distribution Center, and then as the Chief Executive Officer at Consulting Integrating Services. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of Preventor, a Digital and RegTech enterprise, a digital financial crime risk management platform.

Jaime Ramirez graduated from Y Combinator's Startup School in 2020. Additionally, they hold certifications from the Project Management Institute, FIBA Bankers, ACAMS, the Scrum Alliance, the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and the Florida International Bankers Association. These certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2016, AMLCA - Anti-money Laundering Certified Associate, CAMS - Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist, CPAML - Certified Professional Anti-Money Laundering, CSM - Certified Scrum Master, PMP - Program Manager Professional, Real Estate Associate, and Yacht and Ship Employing Broker.
