Emily Lilo is currently an Advisor at PreventScripts. Prior to that, they were the Chair of the Health Communication Working Group at the American Public Health Association from November 2018 to October 2020. Emily has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Community Health at Western Oregon University from August 2017 to September 2019. In addition, they were the Co-Founder and Social Responsibility Officer at Apasionado Coffee from February 2014 to December 2017. Emily has also worked as an Associate Scientist III at UNM Prevention Research Center from August 2013 to July 2017 and as a Research Project Manager at Stanford University School of Medicine from August 2009 to July 2013.
Emily Lilo has a PhD in Culture and Health Communication from the UNM Department of Communication and Journalism. Emily also has a Master of Public Health - MPH in International Public Health/Maternal Child Health from Boston University School of Public Health. Additionally, Emily Lilo has a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Colorado College. Lastly, they have a High School Diploma from American Cooperative School, La Paz Bolivia.
