Péter Halácsy

Péter Halácsy is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in building and leading innovative organizations. Currently serving as the CEO of Budapest School since August 2015, Halácsy focuses on creating a network of community-funded microschools in Hungary. As a co-founder, CTO, and board member at Prezi since 2008, Halácsy has played a pivotal role in establishing the engineering team and developing complex software solutions. Previous roles include founder and CEO of Budapest School in 2015, founder and technology director at Kitchen Budapest, and assistant lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where research centered on natural language processing. Halácsy holds an MSc in computer science engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and has completed three years in a PhD program at Eötvös Loránd University focusing on information retrieval.
