James Costa

James Costa is an experienced rigging professional and business owner with a diverse background in production and logistics management. As the owner of Whats Your Point Rigging LLC since 2017, Costa also serves as a production rigger for Production Resource Group, contributing to events like Coachella and Stagecoach, while simultaneously working for Canyon Recluse, LLC and as a freelance production rigger. Previously, Costa held the role of production manager at BNW Rigging, overseeing various operational aspects, and has been involved as a rigger with Local 4 and BNW since 2014 and 2016, respectively. With foundational experience as a stagehand at the Classical Stage Company and World Financial Center, Costa has honed skills in lighting design, equipment setup, and stage management. Costa holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
