Benjamin Chen

Benjamin Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benjamin started their career as a System Administrator Intern at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they administered the university's domain and workstations and was involved in Java and web development. Benjamin then worked as a Technical Intern at Fidelity Investments before joining S&P Global Ratings as an Applications Administrator, where they played a key role in a Project Management System and managed a Six-Sigma BPM project. Benjamin then joined the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications as a PPM System Manager. Benjamin later transitioned to Goldman Sachs as a Software Engineer, specializing in object-oriented programming and building REST API services and web applications. Benjamin also contributed as an Open-Source Software Contributor in projects related to Rust programming language and JavaScript ecosystem. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineer at Priceline, where they have held various roles such as Senior Software Engineer and Front-End Engineer. Benjamin'sresponsibilities have included building payment platforms, migrating legacy applications, and improving developer experience.

Benjamin Chen attended UMass Boston from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree. During this time, they completed double majors in Computer Science and Finance.
