Kenneth Yu

Kenneth Yu started their work experience in 2016 as an intern at Starline USA, where they assisted in system administration tasks. In 2016, they also interned at Verifyed, Inc as a front-end developer, creating dynamic and intuitive web pages. From 2017 to 2018, Kenneth worked as an Associate Software Engineer at M&T Bank, developing internal web applications and optimizing SQL servers. Since 2019, they have been working at Priceline, first as a Software Engineer and later as a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they have led and architected high visibility projects using React.js and TypeScript, increasing click-through and conversion rates for a white-label platform. Kenneth has experience in designing and integrating applications, as well as creating detailed documentation.

Kenneth Yu's education history starts in 2009 when they attended Forest Hills High School and graduated with a high school degree in 2013. Kenneth then pursued higher education at the University at Buffalo from 2014 to 2019, majoring in Computer Science. Although they did not complete their degree, they earned 105 credits towards a Bachelor of Science. In 2019, Kenneth attended the Flatiron School for their Software Engineering Immersive program. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kenneth obtained certification as a Grade 8 Pianist from the Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in May 2011.
