Sofie-lily Jane

Sofie-lily Jane has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a contractor. In 2013, they took on the role of Analyst & Programmer at NATO. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Big Data Platform Engineer at King and a Database Administrator at Rated People. Since 2017, they have been working as the Chief Technology Officer at Pricesearcher.com. In this role, they have worked directly with the founder since May 2015, preparing the business for seed funding and laying its tech foundations. Sofie-lily has been responsible for delivering the tech team’s culture and building the tech team from scratch to a size of 19 employees. Additionally, they have helped define the business strategy and aligned the tech team to support them.

Sofie-lily Jane has a diverse educational background. Sofie-lily obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Imperial College London in 2009, a Master's Degree MSc in Network Centred Computing from the University of Reading in 2004, and an Engineer's Degree from Heriot-Watt University in 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Kimball University, Cloudera, Percona, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) since 2014.
