Laura Aramo has a wealth of work experience. Laura began their career in 2013 at Ali Budiardjo, Nugroho, Reksodiputro / ABNR Counsellors at Law as a Corporate Legal Assistant, where they assisted lawyers in their day-to-day business by writing research memoranda and reviewing legal agreements. Laura also contributed in drafting of a proposal and term sheet for the establishment of a foreign investment company in the power sector in Indonesia with an initial equity of US$1 million. In 2013, they also started working at HO-ME, Property Investment & Management as a Business Development & Legal Assistant, providing overall active support to partners, including participation in the implementation of the business, and supporting in the development of the business's website.
In 2014, Laura Aramo began working at EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) as an Executive Director, a €3.2 million EU Commission co-funded project to establish a European trade and investment promotion agency in Indonesia, to support EU companies in expanding their business to the ASEAN market. In addition to the Project Manager responsibilities, they managed the overall project budget, including its elaboration, implementation, and monitoring. Laura also held the role of Project Manager, developing the annual strategic plan, and supervising its development and output, with the objective of building a self-sustainable organisation on the long run. Laura also managed day-to-day operations of the organisation with a 17-member project team and, coordinated their activities, as well as generating income via development and provision of business support services.
In 2015, Laura Aramo joined Enterprise Europe Network - Indonesia as a Project Manager. In 2020, they began working at Pridatect as the Spain & UK Country Manager (acquired by Borneo). Laura is currently working at Borneo as the Head of Privacy Solutions Sales.
Laura Aramo completed their Law Licenciate in Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra between 2007 and 2012. Laura also attended San Diego University for Integrative Studies, SDUIS in 2012 to study Advanced English. From 2009 to 2010, they attended Turun yliopisto - University of Turku as part of an Exchange programme and obtained a Law degree.
