Jo Riedel

Jo Riedel is an experienced labor professional currently serving as the National Program and Membership Coordinator at Pride at Work since January 2022. Riedel has a background as a Labor Journalist/Blogger for the Virtual Picket Line Labor Blog since 2010, providing news and commentary on labor movement issues. Previous positions include Staff Representative at the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals from December 2018 to January 2022, and Warehouse Loader at PepsiCo from April 2012 to December 2018. As an Administrative Organizer for ExperienceSEIU/District, Riedel provided representation to over 1,800 members and led contract negotiations. Additional experience includes managing operations at the Department of Veterans Affairs and overseeing the vending program at American University. Riedel holds degrees in Labor Studies and Political Science, with education completed at the National Labor College and American University.
