Islande Similien

Islande Similien has extensive experience in various roles including an enterprise self-service position at Pride Group LLC since April 2019, and as a student at Year Up since January 2018. Previous experience includes serving as a Teacher Assistant at MentorKids USA from October 2018 to April 2019, where responsibilities involved supporting the teacher with daily tasks, and working as a Front Desk Receptionist at Hotel San Carlos from December 2016 to May 2017, where duties included managing guest check-ins and reservations. Islande is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cell Biology and Anatomy at Grand Canyon University, expected to graduate in September 2026, and holds two Associate's degrees in Business Operations and Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from GateWay Community College and South Mountain Community College, respectively.
