PRIDE Reading Program
Noemi Mejia is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Teacher In Training at Navigator Schools since September 2024 and as a Reading Specialist with the PRIDE Reading Program since September 2020. Previous roles include teaching, instructional aide, and ESL instructor at the Farmworkers Institute of Education & Leadership Development from January 2019 to September 2024, and various positions in supportive living and arts instruction from 2011 to 2019. Noemi holds an Associate of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Hartnell College and has pursued further education at California State University, Fresno, and California State University-Sacramento. Currently, Noemi is enrolled in CalStateTEACH as part of ongoing professional development.
