James Poon

James Poon is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Primaira, LLC since January 2015, James has played a crucial role in designing analog and digital circuitry and leading engineering efforts for the Bluezone Fresh Preservation Technology. Prior experience includes a position as an Electrical Engineer at L-3 Communications, where James led electrical redesign efforts for F-35 flight hardware and managed test engineering for the JSF Electro-Optical Targeting System. Additional roles encompass software and integration engineering at IE Test Systems LLC and applications engineering at Brooks Automation, along with early experience in IT support. James holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
