Ed Saunders

Ed Saunders possesses extensive experience in data analytics and spatial planning, currently serving as the Manager of Data Analytics at the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment since July 2010. Prior roles included Principal Application Developer, focusing on business analytics using Microsoft's BI stack, and Senior Analyst, engaging in urban planning and feasibility assessments. Additionally, Ed has contributed as an Ethics Teacher at Primary Ethics Ltd since January 2016, promoting rational inquiry among primary school students. Previous positions include Spatial Analyst at North Sydney Council, Project Consultant at Integrated Design Solutions, and Senior Consultant at ESRI Australia. Ed holds a Graduate Diploma of Education from Macquarie University, a Master's in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Liverpool John Moores University.
