Tamara Harrison

Tamara Harrison is an accomplished arts and education professional with extensive experience in program direction, teaching, and consultancy. Currently serving as Head of Children, Family and Creative Learning at the Sydney Opera House since February 2020, Tamara oversees a diverse annual program of performances and creative learning initiatives. In addition to this role, Tamara tutors in the Masters of Art & Design program at UNSW and teaches critical thinking through the Primary Ethics Program. As the director of Tamara Harrison Consulting, various projects in arts, education, and placemaking are managed, including collaborations with notable organizations such as The Ethics Centre and Circus Oz. Previous positions include Managing Director at The School of Life, Director of International Projects at Australia Council for the Arts, and Executive Producer at Polyglot Theatre. Tamara's educational background includes degrees in Fine Art, Media Arts, and Theatre Practices, complemented by a leaders' program in cultural diplomacy.
