Nikhil Bobde

Nikhil Bobde is a technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving on the CTO Advisory Board at Bain Capital Ventures since August 2024, Nikhil collaborates with a group of 20 influential tech leaders representing a significant market capitalization. Additionally, as an Advisor and Mentor to Startup Founders at Primary Venture Partners, Nikhil provides strategic guidance to the investment team and portfolio founders. Previously, Nikhil held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Thumbtack from January 2022 to January 2025, overseeing multiple departments including Engineering and Cybersecurity, and managed company P&L. Nikhil's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Facebook, where leadership spanned critical areas such as Video and Privacy, and as Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, contributing to the successful launch of the Unified Communications for Enterprise product. Nikhil holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
