Robert Scott Read has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Robert Scott started their career in the US Army, where they served as a Line-of-Sight Transmission Systems Operator/Training NCO and led a team of soldiers. After that, they worked at Powertel, Inc as a Network Operations Center Engineer, monitoring the GSM network. Robert Scott then joined Digiph PCS as a Network Performance Technician, responsible for traffic engineering and quality of service. Later, they worked at 2nd Century Communication as a Network Engineer, specializing in VoATM and VoIP technology.
In 2001, Robert joined AT&T, where they held multiple roles, including Financial Analyst, Lead Network Engineering Manager, and Senior Network Engineer. Robert Scott was responsible for traffic engineering, quality of service, and managing network projects.
In 2012, Robert transitioned to the public sector and served as a City Council member for the City of Mountain Park. Robert Scott then joined Knights of Columbus as a Senior Director of Program and Brand Management, where they led strategic initiatives, developed program partnerships, and managed a multi-million dollar P&L.
Recently, Robert has served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Virtus Solution, Primary Weapons Systems, and Lone Wolf. In these roles, they have been involved in delivering technology solutions, developing business plans, managing projects, and implementing new functional capabilities.
Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and financial analysis skills. Robert Scott has a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and has a proven track record of achieving results.
Robert Scott Read earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2007. Robert Scott then pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Leadership from Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Engineering from Hillsborough Community College from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they hold certifications in "Blockchain Basics" from LinkedIn and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business.

Primary Weapons Systems
Primary Weapons Systems was formed by firearm enthusiasts in 2008. Starting out by producing muzzle devices, we tested our compensators on all different types of rifles - from M4 variants to AK-47 varieties. After using both styles of rifles in testing with high round counts, the maintenance needed to keep the M4 functioning, and the complete lack of maintenance needed by the AK-47 to handle the same round count, were both astounding. From that basic realization, the PWS long-stroke piston system was born; keeping the core values of the AR15 design, while also lessening the need for maintenance in high-volume fire situations and adverse conditions. Rather than being driven by every new market trend and what’s “hot”- we focus on finding something we want to shoot; if it’s not on the market, we put it there. Primary Weapons is built and run by people who love guns and value our customers by providing the highest level of service. We take great pride in the fact that it is hard to find a customer who owns just one of our products. It seems once someone gives our rifles and accessories a try, they are hooked on the gentle push type recoil, high standards of craftsmanship, and reduced need for maintenance.
