Jason Castaneda

Jason Castaneda has a strong background in finance and accounting, with extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting practices. Jason has held positions such as Finance Controller/VP at Prime Source Technologies, LLC, where they directed budget and cost controls, analyzed and interpreted financial data, and made recommendations to improve systems and financial performance. Prior to this, they served as an International Finance Controller/Pricing Manager at PRO-telligent Global, LLC, where they researched local tax laws, reconciled financial statements and bank accounts for Africa entities, and worked with accountants to reconcile petty cash log expenses. Jason also served as AP Manager/Pricing Manager at PRO-telligent, LLC, where they performed pricing analyses, prepared complex pricing proposals, and worked with internal and external clients to understand customer requirements. Jason also oversaw the accounts payable function and supervised junior accountants. Additionally, Jason worked as an Accountant at PRO-telligent, LLC, where they were responsible for processing payments and maintaining vendor relationships.

Jason Castaneda completed the Science & Technology Program at Oxon Hill High School from 1992 to 1996, earning a high school diploma. Jason then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Later, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
