Akbar Mohamed has extensive experience in leadership and finance, currently serving as President of Prime Communications, the largest AT&T Authorized Retailer in the United States, since July 2000. Additionally, Akbar holds positions as Chairman of the Board at The Awty International School, Founder of Jumana LP, and Founding Member of Meaningful Partners, focusing on impactful investments in consumer companies. Akbar is also Treasurer of the Young Presidents Organization and previously held the role of Chairman at Nizari Progressive Federal Credit Union. Prior financial analytics experience includes roles at Hicks Muse Tate & Furst and Goldman Sachs. Akbar earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
