Lei Wu

Lei Wu began their career in 2012 as an RD Intern at Trend Micro. In 2013, they moved to Northeastern University as an IT Support Engineer. In 2015, they began working at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as an Information Security Analyst. Later that year, they joined Primeon, Inc. as an Information Security Engineer, where they worked with the development team to ensure the secure software development life cycle (SDLC). Lei then became a Senior Information Security Engineer, managing application risks and vulnerabilities from the identification stage to remediation stage. Finally, they were promoted to Engineering Manager, Information Security at Primeon, Inc.

Lei Wu has a diverse educational background. Lei obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Southeast University between 2009 and 2013. Lei then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Northeastern University between 2013 and 2015. In 2011 and 2012, Lei Wu was an Exchange Student at National Central University, studying Computer and Information Sciences, General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including GIAC Advisory Board from GIAC Certifications in 2018, GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) from GIAC Certifications in 2018, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022, and CREST Practitioner Security Analyst from CREST in 2021.
