Chris Westrom

Chris Westrom is an experienced operations leader currently serving as General Manager for Primer, a network of K-8 schools focused on individualized instruction and project-based learning. Previously, Chris held the role of Senior Director of Operations at Opendoor, where responsibilities included strategic operations for a two-sided marketplace and managing a cross-functional team. Prior experience includes Regional General Manager for Opendoor, overseeing a $2B P&L and leading field-based construction teams, as well as significant roles at Uber, Compass, and DBL Investors. Chris served in the US Army, where leadership skills were developed while managing military personnel and operations. Chris holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
