Michael Caplan is a Senior Process Metallurgist who currently serves as a Senior Metallurgist at Primero. They are also a graduate student at the Colorado School of Mines and a member of the Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy. Michael has previously held positions as a Senior Hydrometallurgical Engineer at Electra and an Engineer at Verite Forensic Engineering. They obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2023, following a Master's degree in Extractive Metallurgy and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the same institution.
