Jörg Buttler

Jörg Buttler is a versatile Mechanical Engineer and Vice President at Primetals Technologies, with extensive experience in sales, business development, and steelmaking. After beginning their career in Germany, Jörg spent four and a half years in India, where they established and managed the Business Excellence team and led various departments including steelmaking and electro steelmaking. Jörg's dedication to improving business opportunities through market penetration and client engagement is complemented by a strong focus on team development and strategic efficiency. They hold an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Berlin University of Applied Sciences and a certification in Development & Design Management from the Steinbeis School of International Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition to their professional pursuits, Jörg enjoys cycling and running as a means of maintaining work-life balance.
