Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in the sweeteners sector. Daniel has held various director-level roles at Primient and Tate & Lyle, where they managed the sweeteners portfolio and was responsible for product line ownership and profit and loss accountability. Daniel also led teams in co-product and ethanol sales, as well as regional grain merchandising. Prior to their work in the food industry, they were a transportation analyst at Tate & Lyle and a licensed insurance producer at State Farm. In addition, Daniel served as a board member at the Renewable Fuels Association.

Daniel Smith completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree at Richland Community College from 2002 to 2004. Daniel then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Business from Millikin University between 2004 and 2006. Later, in 2011-2012, Daniel completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Millikin University.
