Senior Research Scientist at Primitive

Colin Roberts has worked in various research and teaching roles since 2015. In 2015, they worked as an Undergraduate Physics Research and Physics Tutor and Learning Assistant at the Colorado State University Physics Department. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Mathematics Research at Colorado State University. In 2019, they worked as a Mathematics and Climate Research Network (MCRN) Student Researcher at the American Institute of Mathematics, where they constructed a multiscale compartmental model to make predictions about the impact that social distancing techniques inside schools and universities have on the spread of COVID-19 in the surrounding communities. Colin also worked on research in modern data assimilation techniques. In 2021, they worked as a NASA SCaN Intern at the NASA Glenn Research Center. Currently, they are working as a Senior Research Scientist and Researcher at Primitive since 2022.

Colin Roberts attended San Marino High School from 2008 to 2012, graduating with a High School Diploma. Colin then attended Colorado State University from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics.
