Virj Kan

Virj Kan has been working in the tech industry since 2011. In 2012, they were a Human-Robot Interaction, Operations Lab at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2014, they became a Researcher at the MIT Media Lab. In 2018, they joined Samsung Electronics as a Senior Designer, where they led and conducted user experience design, research, and strategy for mobile phone camera, IoT, smart home, and wearables. Virj'sUI/UX designs resulted in launch on Galaxy earbuds and Single Take native camera on Galaxy S20, S21, S22. In 2019, they founded and became the CEO of Primitives.

Virj Kan attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.). In 2019, they attended Brown University and completed the Breakthrough Lab accelerator program in Business. From 2008 to 2013, Virj Kan attended ArtCenter College of Design, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.). In 2012, they attended INSEAD and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through a Study Exchange.
