Milo Korman

Cryogenics and Vacuum Engineer

Milo Korman is a physicist and engineer currently working as a Cryogenics and Vacuum Engineer at Thea Energy, where they develop high temperature superconductor magnet systems for fusion energy. Previously, Milo served as a Research Engineer at HRL Laboratories, focusing on cryogenic instrumentation for quantum information systems. They also completed a postdoctoral research position at Case Western Reserve University, where they specialized in hardware development and data analysis for studying the Cosmic Microwave Background. Milo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Chicago and a PhD in Physics from Case Western Reserve University, where they conducted extensive research as a Doctoral Researcher with the South Pole Telescope Collaboration.
