Dan Short

Dan Short is an experienced engineering professional with over two decades in the field, currently serving as the Manager of Electrical and Controls Engineering at Printpack, Inc. since April 2007. In this role, Dan leads a skilled team in managing capital projects and devising innovative solutions to complex production issues, while also integrating digital technologies to enhance Printpack's offerings in the plastic packaging and container industry. Prior to this, Dan held positions as a Corporate Electrical Engineer at Printpack, focusing on capital project management, and as an Engineer at Factory Automation Systems, specializing in industrial controls. Dan began a career in software development for robotic automation and machine vision at Adept Technology. Dan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
