Carleton DiLeo has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. In 2014, Carleton worked as a Lead Software Engineer at VerticalResponse, leading a team and handling backend systems using Ruby on Rails and Sinatra. In 2015, Carleton founded Pixelshot Games, where they developed games and platforms using Unity3D. The company's game, Community Garden, was acquired by Somnium Space in 2018. During the same period, Carleton also worked as a Mentor at The Project Firehose, providing weekly mentoring sessions to students. In 2016, Carleton worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Borrowed & Blue, where they developed and maintained a Ruby on Rails application. They also developed an image processing pipeline using AWS Lambda and implemented new processes to improve code quality and speed. In 2018, Carleton worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PipelineDeals and contributed to the development of the PipelineDeals platform using React, Javascript, Ruby on Rails, and MySQL. Carleton also worked as a Freelance Software Engineer, providing expertise for various contracts. They created serverless web apps using AWS technologies, developed applications using Unity3D/C#, and worked on Ruby on Rails apps and WordPress sites. Carleton DiLeo attended Lincoln Technical Institute from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in PC and Networking. In addition to their degree, Carleton also holds several certifications. In 2003, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA, and in the same year, they also obtained the Network+ certification from the same institution. In 2010, Carleton obtained the Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Installation and Configuration for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (MCITP) certification from Microsoft, and they also obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA in the same year.
